What the app does
ECG Recorder connects over Bluetooth Low Energy to a Polar H10 chest strap and records the raw single-lead ECG, heart rate, RR intervals and accelerometer data it sends. From that signal the app computes values such as heart rate, heart-rate variability, an estimated breathing rate, beat classes and simple events, and can produce a PDF report of a selected interval.
ECG Recorder is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. All values are automatic and approximate. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The app has no user account, no cloud service, no analytics, no advertising and no network permission. It never transmits data off the device. Sharing a report or copying the recording folder is an action you take yourself; whatever you share is then governed by the privacy policy of the app or service you share it with.
Recordings are excluded from Android cloud backup (allowBackup=false).
Permissions and why
- Nearby devices (Bluetooth) — to find and connect to the Polar strap. On Android 11 and older the system requires the Location permission for Bluetooth scanning; the app does not determine or store your location.
- Notifications — the persistent notification of a recording in progress (required by Android for a foreground service).
- Foreground service (connected device) — keeps the Bluetooth connection alive while the screen is off during multi-hour recordings.
- Ignore battery optimisations (optional) — offered because some phones suspend Bluetooth connections in Doze and interrupt overnight recordings. You may decline; recording still works on most devices.
Health data
The recordings are health-related data about you. They are processed only on your device, for the purpose of showing them to you and producing reports you request. They are not used for advertising or sold to anyone. There is no processing by the publisher because the publisher never receives them.
Deleting data
Delete a recording from the History screen, or uninstall the app — Android removes the app’s folder with all recordings and reports. Reports you shared elsewhere must be deleted there.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be published at this address with a new date.

Co robi aplikacja
Rejestrator EKG łączy się przez Bluetooth Low Energy z pasem piersiowym Polar H10 i rejestruje przesyłany przez niego surowy sygnał EKG (jedno odprowadzenie), tętno, odstępy RR i dane akcelerometru. Z tego sygnału aplikacja oblicza m.in. tętno, zmienność rytmu serca, szacunkową częstość oddechu, klasy uderzeń i proste zdarzenia oraz potrafi wygenerować raport PDF z wybranego fragmentu.
Rejestrator EKG nie jest wyrobem medycznym i nie służy do diagnozowania, leczenia ani zapobiegania chorobom. Wszystkie wartości są automatyczne i przybliżone. W sprawach zdrowia skonsultuj się z lekarzem.

Aplikacja nie ma konta użytkownika, chmury, analityki, reklam ani uprawnienia do sieci. Nigdy nie przesyła danych poza urządzenie. Udostępnienie raportu lub skopiowanie folderu z zapisami to Twoje działanie; udostępnione dane podlegają wtedy polityce prywatności aplikacji lub usługi, do której trafiły.
Zapisy są wyłączone z kopii zapasowej Androida w chmurze (allowBackup=false).
Uprawnienia i po co
- Urządzenia w pobliżu (Bluetooth) — wyszukanie i połączenie z pasem Polar. Na Androidzie 11 i starszych system wymaga uprawnienia lokalizacji do skanowania Bluetooth; aplikacja nie ustala ani nie zapisuje Twojej lokalizacji.
- Powiadomienia — stałe powiadomienie o trwającym zapisie (wymagane przez Androida dla usługi pierwszoplanowej).
- Usługa pierwszoplanowa (połączone urządzenie) — utrzymuje łącze Bluetooth przy zgaszonym ekranie podczas wielogodzinnych zapisów.
- Ignorowanie optymalizacji baterii (opcjonalne) — proponowane, bo niektóre telefony usypiają łącze Bluetooth w trybie Doze i przerywają nocne zapisy. Możesz odmówić; na większości urządzeń zapis i tak działa.
Dane dotyczące zdrowia
Zapisy to dane o Twoim zdrowiu. Są przetwarzane wyłącznie na Twoim urządzeniu, w celu pokazania ich Tobie i tworzenia raportów na Twoje żądanie. Nie są wykorzystywane do reklam ani nikomu sprzedawane. Wydawca ich nie przetwarza, bo nigdy ich nie otrzymuje.
Usuwanie danych
Usuń zapis na ekranie „Historia” albo odinstaluj aplikację — Android usuwa jej folder ze wszystkimi zapisami i raportami. Raporty udostępnione gdzie indziej trzeba usunąć tam.
Dzieci
Aplikacja nie jest przeznaczona dla dzieci poniżej 16 lat.
Zmiany
Zmiany polityki będą publikowane pod tym adresem z nową datą.
